Our Team
Sohaib "Sobe" Latif, Esq.
In 2013, Sohaib earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Irvine. In 2016, Sohaib earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
While in law school, Sohaib ranked in the top 10% of his class and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Constitutional Law. During his final year in law school, Sohaib externed for the Honorable Barry Russell, Chief Judge Emeritus of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to starting CA Legal Advisors in May 2021, Sohaib spent five years working with some of California's best known litigators, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. This gave Sohaib insight into how both sides approach litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Sohaib has achieved favorable results for clients on all sides of the spectrum. For instance, Sohaib obtained summary judgment in favor of a commercial property owner facing millions of dollars in exposure in a breach of contract action, saving the client hundreds of thousands of dollars in litigation and trial costs. On the other hand, Sohaib has helped recover over $60 million dollars in settlements for injured people, including over $30 million dollars in settlements since 2022.
Sohaib is licensed to practice in all California state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
